Proper Use
1. Remove the cap.
2. Shake inhaler 4 or 5 times.
3. Breathe out normally.
4. Hold inhaler 2 finger widths from your mouth.
5. Press down on the inhaler as you breathe in
slowly and deeply.
6. Hold your breath for 10 seconds to let the
medicine get deep into your lungs.
7. Wait one minute before you take another puff
(if needed).
Practice these steps with your doctor. If you have trouble with these steps, ask your doctor
about other ways to take your medicine. Never share your inhaler with anyone else
You should clean your inhaler every 2 or 3 days.
To clean your inhaler:
· Remove the canister from the inhaler. Never soak the canister.
· Soak the inhaler in a solution of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water for 30 minutes.
· Air-dry
Instrucciones de uso:
Técnica con boca abierta (Recomendado en personas jóvenes y adultas)
1. Destape el inhalador
2. Agite el medicamento
3. Saque el aire normalmente
4. Abra la boca grande
5. Coloque el inhalador a una distancia de dos dedos abiertos
(en forma de tijera o “V”) de su boca
6. Dispare el inhalador al mismo tiempo que aspira lenta y
completamente el medicamento
7. Aguante la respiración 10 segundos
8. Exhale lentamente
9. Si debe usar más de una dosis de medicamento, espere
un minuto entre cada disparo
Practice esta técnica con su doctor. Si se le diffuculta esta técnica, preguntele a su doctor
sobre otras opciones.
Limpieza:
o El inhalador NUNCA debe compartirse
o Remueva la porción de plástico
o Sumérjalo una vez por semana, durante 30 minutos en una solución de 1 parte
de vinagre y 3 de agua
o Deje que se seque, no lo frote
